今日は晴天です。
花粉や黄砂が気になる季節ではありますが、それでも外に出たくなるような、気持ちのいい一日ですね。
今回は、私が住む日本のお隣の国、現在の韓国について、私なりの気持ちを綴ってみたいと思います。
テレビではあまり報道されていませんが、SNSが発達した今、さまざまな情報が私たちの元に届きます。
もちろん、自分の国のことすら十分に分かっていないのに、他国のことを語るのはおこがましいことかもしれません。
でも私は、ジャーナリストでも専門家でもありません。
あくまで一人の人間としての素直な気持ちとして、読んでいただければ嬉しいです。
～私なりの大まかなまとめ～
2024年12月、韓国の尹錫悦（ユン・ソンニョル）前大統領が非常戒厳を宣言し、軍を動かして国会に圧力をかけました。
この行動は「クーデター未遂」として問題視され、国会では大統領の弾劾訴追が可決されました。
そして2025年4月、韓国の憲法裁判所は尹前大統領の罷免を正式に決定。
韓国は、60日以内に新たな大統領を選ぶ選挙を行うことになります。
この出来事を通して、私は改めて「自由とは何か」を考えさせられました。
韓国の若者たちが立ち上がり、自分たちの未来や自由を守ろうと声を上げている姿を見て、強く心を動かされました。
文化や国は違っても、人が大切にしたいと願うものは、きっと同じなのだと思います。
私は左派でも右派でもありません。
ただ、SNSを不当に制限したり、法律を守らないような行為には違和感を覚えますし、どんな理由があっても正当化されるべきではないと感じます。
結局、答えはひとつ。
戦争をすることなく、誰もが自由に、人間らしく生きる権利がある――
それは、どの国においても、どんな時代であっても、変わらない大切な価値だと思うのです。
世界のどこかで起きていることも、私たちの日常とつながっています。
これからも、自分にできる小さな気づきや想いを、大切にしていきたいと思います。

Although there may be pollen or yellow dust in the air, it still feels like a day that makes you want to go outside.
Today, I’d like to share my personal thoughts on South Korea, our neighboring country here in Japan.
It’s not something that’s widely covered on television, but in this age of social media, we receive a great deal of information from various sources.
Of course, I understand that it might seem presumptuous to speak about another country when I don’t even fully understand everything about my own.
But I’m not a journalist or an expert—this is simply my personal opinion as one individual, and I would be grateful if you could read it that way.
My Brief Summary
In December 2024, former South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol declared martial law and mobilized the military to pressure the National Assembly.
This action was seen as an attempted coup, and the National Assembly passed a motion to impeach him.
Then in April 2025, the Constitutional Court officially ruled to remove President Yoon from office.
As a result, South Korea will hold a new presidential election within 60 days.
This series of events made me think deeply about what “freedom” really means.
Seeing the young people of South Korea stand up to protect their future and their freedom truly moved me.
Even if our cultures and countries are different, I believe the values we hold dear as people are often the same.
I do not belong to either the left or the right.
But I feel uneasy when I see social media being unfairly restricted, or when laws are disregarded.
No matter the reason, I don’t think such actions should ever be justified.
In the end, I believe there is one simple answer.
No war. And the right for every person to live freely and with dignity.
That is the most important value, no matter the country or era.
What happens in the world is always connected to our daily lives.
From now on, I want to keep treasuring the small realizations and feelings that I can have as just one person.
