最近「アフリカホームタウン」という話題がネットで広がり、移民政策ではないかと多くの国民が不安や怒りの声をあげました。報道の一部は誤りだったとも言われていますが、それでも「また政府や利権に都合のいい説明ではないか」と感じてしまう人は少なくありません。
私は右でも左でもなく、中立の立場で世界情勢を見ています。それでも今の日本の状況を考えると、不安になるのは当然だと思います。国民が怒るのは決して不思議なことではありません。
〜日本社会の現状と摩擦〜
今の日本では、海外から来た人との摩擦が実際に起きています。
過去にはあまり見られなかった問題ですが、川口のクルド人コミュニティや、中国に関する事例など、国民が納得できないまま進められている政策や状況があるのも事実です。
こうした状態のまま、さらにアフリカから多くの人を受け入れるのは、日本側だけでなく、来てくださるアフリカの方々にとっても失礼だと思います。
〜私が考える国際協力のかたち〜
私が考える国際協力とは、まず お互いにリスペクトを持ち合い、宗教や文化を大切にし合うこと です。これが前提にあってこそ、本当の意味での交流や協力が成り立ちます。
もし、それができない人がいた場合には、即座に帰国していただくべきだと思います。ですが、残念ながら今の日本では、そうしたルールを徹底して動くことができていません。だからこそ、一度立ち止まり、仕組みや考え方をリセットする必要があると感じます。
〜政治家への願い〜
国際協力そのものを否定するつもりはありません。
ただ、受け入れる側の体制も整わないままに政策を進めることは、日本にとっても、来てくださる海外の方にとっても不幸を生むだけです。
だからこそ、政治家の方々には、この現実をしっかり直視し、もっと深く考えてほしい と強く願います。

国際協力そのものは否定できません。けれど、受け入れる体制が整っていない現状で無理に進めれば、日本にとっても海外から来る方にとっても不幸を生むだけです。

Recently, the topic of “Africa Hometowns” has spread across the internet, with many citizens voicing concern and anger, suspecting it to be an immigration policy. Some reports say it was misinformation, but many people still feel, “Isn’t this just another convenient explanation by the government and vested interests?”
I am neither on the right nor the left; I try to observe world affairs from a neutral standpoint. Even so, looking at the current situation in Japan, it is only natural to feel uneasy. It is no wonder that citizens are angry.
The Current Situation and Friction in Japanese Society
In today’s Japan, friction with people from overseas is already happening.
In the past, such issues were rarely seen, but in places like the Kurdish community in Kawaguchi or in cases related to China, there are situations and policies being pushed forward without the consent of ordinary citizens.
Under these circumstances, inviting more people from Africa would not only be difficult for Japan, but I believe it would also be disrespectful to the people of Africa who come here.
My View of International Cooperation
My idea of international cooperation is based on mutual respect—valuing each other’s religions and cultures. Only with this foundation can genuine exchange and cooperation be achieved.
If someone cannot follow this principle, I believe they should be asked to return home immediately. Unfortunately, in today’s Japan, such rules are not enforced effectively. That is why I feel we must pause, take a step back, and reset our systems and way of thinking.
A Message to Politicians
I do not intend to deny international cooperation itself.
However, pushing policies forward without establishing proper systems will only bring unhappiness both to Japan and to those who come here.
That is why I strongly hope that politicians will face this reality seriously and think more deeply about the consequences of their decisions.
