特に森林や湿原周辺など、本来守るべき自然環境への影響が指摘されているにもかかわらず、業者は場所や計画を変えながら事業を続けています。
Despite these warnings, some operators continue their projects by changing locations or plans, even though these areas should be protected.
再生可能エネルギー推進という言葉の裏で、地元住民の不安と不信は消えていません。

私がこの問題で一番疑問に思うのは、メガソーラーのほとんどが中国製であるという事実です。
What concerns me most about these mega solar projects is that most of the panels are made in China.
日本の自然を壊しながら、利益の多くは海外メーカーへ流れていく。これは本当に日本のための再生可能エネルギーなのでしょうか。
While Japan’s natural environment is being destroyed, much of the profit flows overseas. Can this truly be called renewable energy for Japan?
現実には、国民の電気代は下がるどころか、再エネ賦課金という形で税金が上乗せされ、負担は確実に増えています。
In reality, electricity bills are not going down. Instead, citizens are paying more through the renewable energy surcharge added to taxes.
環境にやさしいと言われながら、自然を壊し、最後には大量の処分が難しいゴミになる。それが今のメガソーラーです。
These projects are promoted as eco-friendly, yet they destroy nature and eventually become large amounts of hard-to-dispose industrial waste.
再生可能エネルギーそのものを否定しているわけではありません。しかし、自然を壊し、国民に負担を押し付け、最後は大きなゴミになる政策は、もういい加減にしてほしい。
I am not against renewable energy itself. However, policies that destroy nature, burden citizens, and leave behind massive waste should be reconsidered.
本当に守るべきものは何なのか。今こそ、国も政治も立ち止まって考えるべきだと思います。
It is time for the government to stop and seriously think about what truly needs to be protected.
