辺野古で起きた、あまりに痛ましい事故。
活動家の船が転覆し、17歳の女子高生と船長という、尊い二人の命が失われました。
事故をめぐっては様々な憶測が飛び交っていますが、まずは心よりご冥福をお祈りいたします。
近年、この海域では無謀とも思える活動が散見され、現場の安全が脅かされている現状があります。そして、こうした活動に生徒を関わらせた学校側の責任も、決して軽くはありません。
日本の教育のあり方が、偏った方向へ傾いてしまっているのではないか……。今回の件を通して、その懸念を強く抱かざるを得ません。
私たちはこの事件を、決して風化させてはなりません。失われた命の重さを深く受け止め、一体どこに責任があったのか、その所在を厳しく追求していく必要があると考えます。
A truly heart-wrenching accident occurred in Henoko.
An activist boat capsized, claiming the precious lives of a 17-year-old high school student and the captain.
While there is much speculation surrounding the incident, first and foremost, I offer my deepest condolences.
In recent years, we have seen increasingly reckless activities in the waters around Henoko. Moreover, the lack of responsibility from the school involved is deeply concerning.
This incident makes me feel that the current state of Japanese education is leaning too far in a certain ideological direction.
We must never let this incident be forgotten. It is essential that we seriously accept the weight of the lives lost and rigorously pursue accountability to determine where the responsibility lies.
